As I said in my previous post at http://colbylobrien.wordpress.com/2008/04/02/an-issue-that-bothers-me/ , I have written a letter to send to our local McDonald’s concerning the issue of that corporation actively promoting the homosexual agenda. Here is the text of that letter that may be used as a model to other McDonald’s establishments:
Dear Owner(s) and Management:
This morning I was quite upset to receive an email from the American Family Association that stated:
McDonald’s has signed on to a nationwide effort to promote “gay” and “lesbian” business ventures. According to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner, McDonald’s will aggressively promote the homosexual agenda. In remarks on McDonald’s Web site concerning the company becoming a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Skinner wrote: “Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are. We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world…and we do.” The company gave an undisclosed amount of money to the NGLCC in return for being recognized as a major promoter of the homosexual agenda. In return, NGLCC placed Richard Ellis, vice president of communications of McDonalds USA, on the NGLCC Board of Directors.
We are a local family with five children, and we have enjoyed eating at the (name of hometown) McDonald’s on a fairly regular basis. McDonald’s has long been known as a family-friendly establishment, but this decision to promote the homosexual agenda does not fit that family-friendly image. We cannot patronize McDonald’s restaurants knowing that the McDonald’s corporation is supporting an agenda that is against our personal religious beliefs and values.
We have written of our concerns to McDonald’s headquarters and want to also inform our local business of them. We will be glad to return our business to McDonald’s when this issue has been addressed.
I don’t know if this will accomplish anything, but at least our local McDonald’s will know why we are no longer eating there.

I like what you did here. Im sure God blessed you when you wrote this letter. Even if it doesnt accomplish anything, God will be pround of what you did, thats what matters. =)
Excellent stuff…
