This is Brock’s review of Saved at Sea, by Mrs. O. F. Walton. He is in 4th Grade of A Beka Academy DVD Homeschool, program 1.
Saved at Sea is a Christian fiction book written by Mrs. O. F. Walton. It has 93 pages.
Saved at Sea is about a young boy named Alick who lives on an island with his grandfather because his mother died and his father was lost at sea. Alick, his grandfather, and their neighbor, Mr. Millar, save a young girl named Timpey from the sinking ship Victory. Mr. Davis, the owner of the ship, comes to tell them he does not know where Timpey’s parents are. Mr. Davis also tells them about God. Later Mr. Millar gets saved. Mr. Millar dies when he falls off of the ship. Mr. Millar’s replacement is Alick’s father, Mr. Fergusson. Alick, after getting saved, is brought to school when Timpey’s parents come.
My favorite part is when Mr. Fergusson returns. Alick doesn’t know his father is coming. Alick gets a big surprise!
